I founded Solis Law Mediations because I know the value of an efficient mediator. In my career, I have handled thousands of cases representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a wide variety of cases including insurance coverage disputes, business and consumer disputes, construction defect matters, and personal injury. At Solis Law, I utilize my intimate knowledge of both sides of litigation to help resolve even the toughest disputes quickly.

Insurance Coverage Litigation:
Over 25 years of coverage dispute litigation experience representing both carriers and insureds. Represented primary and excess insurers, agents, and reinsurers in a variety of coverage-related matters, including declaratory judgment actions, primary/excess disputes, and bad faith cases. Represented 1000’s of policyholders for disputed damage to churches, hotels, hospitals, commercial centers, apartment complexes and residences in coverage disputes against insurance carriers. Heavy litigation experience handling many forms of water damage disputes including flood, wind, hail, hurricane, tornado, foundation, mold, asbestos, and construction defect claims.
Construction Defect Litigation:
Represented and have litigated against numerous trades in construction defect/negligence lawsuits including general contractors and most subcontractor trades including plumbers, masons, window installers, roofers, water proofers, electricians, HVAC installers, foundation levelers and water/mold mitigation entities. Represented a large south Texas commercial metal roof installer for over a decade in dozens of school district construction defect lawsuits including the first school district construction defect trial with a verdict in Hidalgo County (Zero verdict for roofer client.) Represented large telecommunications company in over two hundred utility damage lawsuits involving road contractors/TXDOT/utility locate companies. Further, I have also litigated various insurance coverage issues related to construction defect litigation.
Business and Consumer Litigation:
Litigated all types of business litigation claims including breach of contract, partnership disputes, employment, fraud, real estate disputes, breach of noncompete clauses, collections, insurance coverage disputes, valuation disputes with appraisal districts, and breach of fiduciary duty litigation.
Personal Injury Litigation:
Handled all phases of personal injury litigation including product liability, slip and fall, workplace accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, defamation, trucking litigation, assault, brain injury, boating accidents, aviation accidents, motorcycle accidents, nursing home abuse, toxic torts, and dog bite lawsuits.

I am also an active real estate investor in San Antonio. I self-manage a portfolio of properties which includes commercial, multi-family and single-family residences. I have a unique perspective on construction matters as I have developed, designed, built, and fully remodeled dozens of properties over the last 15 years.
